Children's Privacy Notice

Who this is for

HeroKid.AI is purchased and operated by parents and legal guardians of children. Children do not create accounts, do not log in, and do not chat with the AI. Every story is requested, configured, reviewed, and downloaded by an adult.

What we collect about a child

  • First name and age, supplied by the parent/guardian.
  • A photo of the child, uploaded by the parent/guardian, used to lock the hero likeness.
  • Optional preferences: art style, interests, story themes.
  • Generated comics and stories starring the child.

We do not knowingly collect persistent identifiers, precise location, voice recordings, biometric scans, or contact information directly from a child.

Verifiable parental consent

Before any child photo or profile is processed, the parent or guardian:

  • Creates a parent account using their own email and authentication.
  • Acknowledges this notice and the Privacy Policy at the time of upload.
  • Provides payment information for any paid order, which serves as an additional consent signal.

How a child's information is used

  • Solely to generate, fulfill, and deliver the personalized story or comic the parent requested.
  • To maintain a consistent hero across future stories the same parent creates.
  • To provide support and resolve issues with an order.

We do not use child photos or names to train third-party AI models. We do not sell child data. We do not show targeted advertising to children — the product has no ads.

Safety controls

  • No open chat: children cannot send free-form prompts to the AI.
  • Story prompts run through content safety filters before generation.
  • Generated text and imagery are constrained by parent-selected themes and age-appropriate templates.
  • No public profiles, no social feed, no DM or comment surfaces.

Your parent rights

At any time, a parent or guardian can:

  • Review what we have stored about their child (account & hero profile pages).
  • Delete an uploaded photo, a hero profile, or the entire account.
  • Request that we stop processing the child's information.
  • Request a full export of stored data.
